Ajit George is the Director of Operations for the Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project,
a board member of the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media,
an administrator of the Baldev Medical and Community Development Center in India,
an enthusiastic advocate for diversity in the game industry,
a professional speaker, and a frequent consultant for emerging non-profits.
His work includes overseeing all domestic and international fundraising, volunteer and teacher recruitment, media relations, strategic partnerships, and the mentorship program for the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project.
As an administrator of The Baldev Medical and Community Development Center, Ajit works with Shanti Bhavan's surrounding villages to provide them with medical care, housing, and infrastructure improvement.
He presents regularly on economic justice and world changing forces, most recently at TEDx William & Mary, the International Money Fund, and Oliver Wyman.
Ajit lives in Seattle but spends four months of the year working directly in the field with the children of Shanti Bhavan and the impoverished communities he serves.
